DO I NEED TO BRING A BOARD?
You're welcome to use ours or you can bring your own. We have boards of all shapes and sizes ranging from a 5’7 fish to an 11’0 single fin.
WILL I BE SURFING WITH PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT LEVELS?
The whole concept of what we do is that every part of it is tailor-made for you.
If you are initially paired with another surfer and you are progressing at a different rate than them then don’t worry because we will staff accordingly.
DO I NEED A WETSUIT/BOOTS?
Most of our coaching takes place at Playa Guiones and people do not usually wear either but if you REALLY feel the cold then maybe a 2mm spring suit. Reef Boots may be applicable if you’re going on a Day Trip.
DO I NEED A CAMERA/RENTAL CAR?
Not if we are looking after you in Costa Rica :)
HOW CAN I PAY?
We can take Card Payments here in Costa Rica (with 3% machine fee) otherwise we can do Cash, or ACH/wire transfer.
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
We work Mon-Fri and rest on the weekends unless by an extra special request :)
DO I NEED INSURANCE?
We strongly recommend you book travel insurance that covers you in the event of injury and/or forced cancellation for any unforeseen circumstances including COVID-19 and other natural disasters.
DO I HAVE TO STAY WITH YOU TO SURF WITH YOU?
No, we work closely with a variety of accommodation providers but you can choose to stay wherever you like
DO YOU WORK WITH KIDS?
Absolutely!
